THE CHALLENGE
Redesign Scottrade’s mobile and tablet client apps for iOS and Android to make trading investments and managing accounts simple, easy and quick.
Conceptual Design
I collaborated with the UX team to create overall navigation patterns and user journeys based on previously created personas and high-level scenarios. Navigation and screen options were explored.
Detailed Design
Following an agile process in several sprints, I created detailed wireframes for alerts, investment quote screens, investment research, performance graphs, market news, and search. I then collaborated with the visual design and development teams to create the final screens. We focused on iOS, and then adapted it to Android.
Development Support
I helped the agency and client technology teams prioritize features and collaborate on further design developments. We launched the apps mid-2013, and delivered wireframe documentation for Scottrade to take over the subsequent updates.
