ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Immigration Policy Tracking Project is a comprehensive immigration policy database for tracking Trump’s administration actions. Its team wanted a redesign and added functionality to help policy makers prepare for the 2020 elections, when a potential change in administration could allow these policies to get reverted.

As the researcher on the team, I conducted interviews with stakeholders and policy makers in immigration about their needs, goals and processes. User needs and personas from this research informed my conceptual UX design work with updated information architecture, taxonomies, and powerful search functionalities.
